Last week, 21-year-old student Shaheen Dhada updated her status on Facebook, expressing frustration that Mumbai was shut down after the death of politician Bal Thackeray. Her friend Renu Srinivasan “liked” the post. Within hours, as contributor Ajoy Bose reports, both were in jail.
