So Very Interesting… Time to re-think my public opinion on controversial issues…Since the govt had ” Mr. Ramdam ” tone down his govt revelations on information gathering. I think it is a good idea to follow suit….It is a Great Article and MUCH appreciated…
Yes , I found it very interesting as well. Which is why I wanted to share it. The truth is that the more advanced technology becomes the less privacy we will have. The knowledge and the ease with which we can access it has it’s price. Did we expect that we would lose our rights in the process? Personally I do not believe they go hand in hand. However, where there is greed, corruption and lust for power there will always be a danger posed to individual rights and freedoms. Technology just makes it easier for them to reach out and impose it that much more effectively. You add a good crisis that should not go to waste and you have exactly what is taking place right before our very eyes.
To possibly overstate the boundaries, progress is not bad of itself, but the evil aspect is when the powers try to use this progress to give them an advantage over all others and are willing to pay dearly for this knowledge… Some call it lust for power, Corporatism. others greed, and some the American Way… But it All boils down to disadvantaging and controling one over the others…
Oh, I never meant that progress was a bad thing. Simply that it serves as a ready medium for those who wish to abuse it for personal gain. Whether that gain be for greed or power.
I was always under the assumption that the American way was to make ones way and become successful or live comfortably by way of ones hard work. Or so many immigrants from days gone by believed.
Control has always been the objective of the power structure. It is just much simpler now thanks to technology.
