In a new report by the EPA, covered in the video below, a 1/2-mile-wide plume of trichloroethylene (TCE), PCE and vinyl chloride is polluting an area near a toxic Superfund site and contaminating a section of residential Mountain View, California.
The EPA test results come from the air and groundwater around the Middlefield, Ellis, Whisman Superfund site. Even though the results are being released now, the plume has been 30 years in the making and can cause serious health problems including cancer and child deformities.
It was not until a local investigative unit began asking questions that an independent probe was launched by the Cancer Prevention Institute of California, according to an NBCBayArea.com report:
The chemical of most concern and most quantity in the toxic underground plume is a chemical called trichloroethylene, known as TCE. It’s a cleaning solvent once commonly used by the military and the budding semi-conducting industry 30 years ago.
The EPA says that TCE is a toxic solvent that causes cancer in people and heart deformities in unborn babies.

The higher than expected incidence of these cancers occurred during the years 1996 to 2005.
Now the EPA admits that until recently it had somehow missed some “hot spots” of higher than acceptable levels of TCE in groundwater and in the air in several homes and more than 20 commercial buildings in the area. (Source)
The EPA’s record of ignoring, downplaying, or “missing” environmental damage and the health effects on humans is unparalleled. From major events such as 9/11, the Exxon and Gulf oil spills to the worst case, Fukushima, they also have decidedly leaned toward letting Monsanto and Big Ag run wild.
Despite this dire report finally being released, they once again have shown their organization to be one of the least trustworthy and flat out dangerous government agencies.

And where are all these environmentalists who are protecting tadpoles and miniscule fish, etc. etc. while they are allowing this corrupted govt to blindly permit Big Corporations to poison the peoples and destroy the lands… Well, It looks like the American Indian was right after all….
Looks to me as if the EPA has been covering this up for a very long time. I found a Redord of Decisoon System dated back in 1989 where it sets the criteria necessary to clean up a Suoerfund site that had been used by BECKMAN INSTRUMENTS (PORTERVILLE PLANT) which can be found here
I also found a document outlining the contaminants found but he responsible parties including the private entities that own and manage the Suoerfund as well as all the government agencies charged with keeping them honest. That document can be found here If you read the document then you will find that the chemicals they list are the very same chemicals that are being reported in the article.
It looks to me as if this has been an ongoing problem since the early 80′s from the information I have found. Many have brought it to the forefront and it has been buried time and time again by government entities with a big show of inspection and details of cleanup requirements but not much more than that. The government runaround……
this admin is Not one for cleaning up of any toxic landfills or spills. Just look at how he didn’t do anything for the BP spill….. His agenda is for financially bankrupting this country, not helping….
I often wonder what they think will happen after all these disasters kill the eco systems. Where do they plan to go ? It’s not like it will be an alternate reality where they can run off to while we suffer through their muck and mire. Are they so out of touch that they think they can destroy nature , the atmosphere , the water and still have a world they can enjoy?
It is beyond my ken, honestly……
I cannot tell you what their plans may be, my mind doesn’t go that low…. They have these huge tunnels some say they can live from ten years to indefinitely in.. ?? But it All boils down to ” Are they willing to destroy our planet to achieve what they consider a victory ?? ” They all are CRAZY with Power and Greed.. It is really Scary….
I don’t think any sane person is capable of imagining all the horrors that they are entrenched in. One must be a psychopath to be able to fathom their depth of insanity.
Well that little sticking point is the one I keep coming back to over and over again….
It begs the question do they not think it will not affect them?
DO they not care?
Or do they already possess technology advanced enough that they could fix most of it after they have wrecked it and gotten rid of the surplus of useless eaters? ( as they refer to us ).
Makes one think doesn’t it ???
